Lead teacher, Ms. Marilyn, was born and raised in Chicago but has claimed Glen Ellyn as her home since she graduated from high school. She is a graduate of College of Du Page and has been teaching preschool for 16 years. Marilyn has participated in numerous classes and seminars in early childhood education and has taught at Word of Life Lutheran Preschool in Naperville as well as Peace Lutheran Preschool in Lombard. Marilyn has a great love of children, “They are truly God’s gifts to us.”

She and her husband have a daughter who is an OR nurse in the ortho trauma area at Loyola University. They are members of St. James the Apostle Church, in Glen Ellyn.
